Things That We Need in Life When We Feel Nothing

God is spirit and he has given his Holy Spirit to us and so when we have the Holy Spirit, we have God. Fellowship is not an event but a daily observation that requires consistency so as to witness results. It doesn't come easily but it's not impossible. It comes with both responsibility and accountability.

When we desire to get closer to God, he draws near to us but the enemy tries to pull us back, that's why determination and commitment are vital. There are so many benefits of being in fellowship with God; Instant answers to our prayers- when we have fellowship with God, the Holy Spirit is in us and he helps on how to pray. Rom 8.26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. 

Unless one is in spirit, he won't know what to pray for and when. This is why most of our prayers remain unanswered. Many want their prayers answered but they won't bother about the fellowship with God. Jesus in John 15.7 said that if we REMAIN fellowship in Him we'd receive anything we wish because he knew that the Holy Spirit would enable us. This is a benefit that should cause every thinking Christian to desire a fellowship with the Almighty. When we know what to pray for and when, we'll have rest.
