Creating a Mindset For Success

In addition, I had never mentioned previously that The Longevity Blueprint Review his diction would improve in this manner. He certainly realized that his 'real' voice had a warmer, deeper, more resonant quality; but, it was only after I had him revert back to his old voice that he was so struck by the change in his articulation. What this man discovered was something I have found with all of my clients in the many years I have been teaching. Everyone's diction improves. And, the change is immediate. While his 'real' voice is not a habit, his homework is to use his new sound as much as possible in the next week. I am excited by the change for this man because it will open many more doors for him in his future.

If your diction needs work, you might consider a course in voice improvement. If you want your message to be heard, you must speak so others can understand you. Keep your accent or your dialect - just clean it up. We as Designers want to be successful and have money and clients flow into our lives. Sometimes, we subconsciously block the flow that comes naturally into our lives by adopting attitudes and behaviors that stop clients and repel money.

In the coaching conversations I have with Designers I am often hearing  I have a new client next week, but she doesn't want much. It is just a little job. All I get is little jobs. I hear enormous scarcity in that self-talk. Do you realize that if you focus your thoughts and energy on scarcity that is what you will create more of in your life. STOP and check in on what is going on with your relationship with money.

New opportunities, new clients and new money need to be acknowledged and celebrated regardless of what you think the size is. Little jobs are fine; this is how you get clients to trust you. People are being cautious with their money these days. Your client wants to see some value and results before committing to larger projects. You must teach your new client how valuable your service is in creating an environment for them that is beautiful, functional and cost-conscious. When you expect to see abundance in your life you will see the enormous opportunity and value of developing a good relationship with a new client who may follow for many years.
